Back to the days where I was rollin' around the 70 Forest Cove neighbourhood lookin' like a lil boy, kickin it with the boys.
It reminds me of where I came from. And who I've become.
In a matter of seconds, Its words can speak truth and healing to my soul.
Its rhythm is fresh. And It's flow is always changing. And that in itself, brings me excitement.
Over the years I've grown and have loved It.
It allows me to momentarily escape reality.
It causes tears to stream down.
It makes me laugh, smile and reminisce especially when I'm kickin' it with my childhood friends.
It can make a solemn day, a BETTER day.
Everytime I listen to It, a breath of fresh air fills my soul.
I love it when music flows through my tympanic membrane and straight to my coronary arteries.
