Changes

They say everything changes. And it does.
People change. Our lives change. It is inevitable.
The difference is how you react to the change.
You see, even when people act like they've changed but really they haven't, my reaction will be different.
I can't let what's past bother me. Past hurts. Past things that have been done unfairly.
I will walk away graciously.
All will be left behind are footsteps and one day, you may wonder what happened....
And by then, I'll be long gone.
There's no such thing as waiting for change to happen.
Change is an action and I'm putting my foot forward for it to happen.
