Freedom

2012 is the year. The year where I will live in complete freedom of anything that used to hold me back.

It's a new year to be refreshed and continue to strive for my dreams and aspirations.

What I used to hold onto dearly, just isn't worth it anymore.

Next Chapter

"Move on. It is just a chapter in the past, but don't close the book- just turn the page."

It's so exciting because I've got a new chapter out here in TO. I'm moving on from my old life and am making a new one for myself out here.... One day, I'm sure I'll be back in beautiful British Columbia. I love the people and I love the mountains but for now, this is where I'm supposed to be and I am going to make the most out of it!

I also found this quote --- a reminder:

The Fight

They say "love isn't enough".

I believe this is true. You need love to be in a relationship but you also need the willingness to fight and conquer.

Someone who knows my worth and is willing to fight for it. When it gets tough, I don't need someone who's going to backdown and leave.

I need someone who is willing to stand up for me because they love me.

Someone who knows themselves like I know myself.

Someone to be sure of themselves.

Someone who will be there alongside me through all the trials in life.

Why? Because I know I will do the same.

My past has taught me well. Although it was painful, I have grown immeasurably.

Ladies, don't settle for anything less because you deserve the world :).

2012. It's here

A new year & there's nothing but excitement within me.

I feel like my trip back home was wonderful but I'm so ready to conquer my dreams.

I'm living independently in a new city and it is an experience that is challenging but exhilarating.

I am so ready for what is in store for my future.

And I feel like I've left my past in the past where it belongs and have made the best decisions so far with no regrets of shoulda, woulda, coulda.
