Decision

When I first heard this song, it reminded me.
That no matter how times change or how much time passes,
friends will always be there.
Friends who have always shared the same vision in life.
I am reminded of Eleanor Roosevelt, "Many people walk in and out of your life but true friends leave footrprints in your hearts."
This is true.
And I am also reminded of Proverbs 21:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend..."
This is true.
So, thank you. Thank you to those that have come along side of me and guided me.
Thank you to those that have stuck by.
Thank you to those that have taught me.
Thank you to those that have provided another perspective.
Thank you to those who may have even hurt me because I learned.
And sorry to those that I may have even hurt along the way, I'm sorry if we lost our way.
Sometimes loss is what teaches us the most.
Sometimes it is time that teaches us the most.
Sometimes it is pain that teaches us the most.
Sometimes it is distance that teaches us the most.
Regardless, we celebrate the times we had and the time we shared because we look back now and remember the uncontrollable laughter... the good times.
These memories will always be remembered.
And the truth is that things change everyday... no matter how much you want to hold onto the day before.
Each day is a brand new day to start over.
